What a beauty. Love the colour combination. I seem to recall a similar car for sale here in Canada 10 or so years ago. I think it was advertised in the Old Car Auto trader in Saskatchewan of all places. Could it be the same one?
Yes maybe it’s not so amusing. The depressing fact is that this method might actually work for him . Just like the annoying telephone solicitations which never stop here in Canada as they only have to rely on a fraction of a percentage of suckers biting to make it worthwhile.

are all those brackets and cross members riveted on? What about rust underneath them ? Your engine mounts look similar to mine which are bolted. On my M45 almost everything is bolted in place, fortunately mine does not have that the rust just a couple of layers of paint.
Personally I hate the look of powder coating . Just paint it, drive it, have fun and let it acquire patina. It will outlast you. Then again if you want to “hob nob” with the Pebble Beach crowd powder coat everything!
PROBABLY TOO LARGE A FILE. IF USING A MAC just export the picture to documents and make sure you change it to jpg format when given the choice , then choose smallest quality and large size, this generally gives a good picture under 150 kb. I am still learning as well

I got lucky and won an auction on Ebay for the correct speedometer plus an extra tachometer for my car!
I attended the Brough rally in 2008 and we rode our Broughs through south Wales to visit a lovely lady with a collection of Brough automobiles and a Continental R which attracted a lot of attention. I then bumped into by chance at Hershey 2 months on the previous owner who spoke very highly of it.
From Canada! How interesting. Any Canadian history? Beautiful car, love the colour too. Not too sure about that strange looking job though. For that kind of dough I would rather have a Bugatti or Voisin, something French.
you misinterpreted my comment. I was referring to the second place status of Derbys a relegated by the brass at Rolls, not the aesthetic qualities.Many are very attractive but that said IN MY OPINION there was never a derby or Rolls from the thirties that is as beautiful as an M45.
Remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Post some pictures of your treasures .
If I had the money I would buy that v12.hmmm, maybe not oily rag, I would want a very close look before venturing into that , still magnificent though
