Yes, I received one as well, and quite agree. There is no hint of enthusiasm, and “any drophead models”; surely one would have a preferred favourite? Final downer for me was that the guy isn’t even willing to share his christian name with us.
There is a long thread over on the AMOC forum prompted by similar letters being sent to members by S. Brand. Clearly, this character has got hold of the personal data of members of more than one club. Some urgent action is required, methinks.
Yes maybe it’s not so amusing. The depressing fact is that this method might actually work for him . Just like the annoying telephone solicitations which never stop here in Canada as they only have to rely on a fraction of a percentage of suckers biting to make it worthwhile.
I fully agree with the thread comments.
I trust someone with some legal standing might drop a short note to the gentleman, before someone is suckered on.
