A nicely restored 2.6 litre dhc has just come up for sale.

The car may be viewed at the following link:

    http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C371010

It looks very handsome in a strong two-tone combination of silver gray and burgundy with cream leather interior and nicely restored walnut vennered dash, woodwork and new carpets. etc

Asking price is 72,000 pounds. That is very strong money for one of these cars, but in line with what various European dealers have been asking for several cars. The caveat of course is, that they are not selling

What a beauty. Love the colour combination. I seem to recall a similar car for sale here in Canada 10 or so years ago. I think it was advertised in the Old Car Auto trader in Saskatchewan of all places. Could it be the same one?

IIRC, this car has been offered repeatedly in recent years, Simon. It is pretty.

    Tim hi,

I wonder if you are confusing this 1952 car with a burgundyish colored hood, with a similar car with a black hood cover from Switzerland, which dates from 1950 ?

The Swiss car has indeed been around for a fair few years.

The 1952 car for sale in England, was barn stored in the 1960?s and was purchased in 2004 by the previous owner who set about a photographic body off ground up restoration. In 2011 further extensive work was carried out on the engine, brakes and rear axle by the current owner.
