Hi Laurence,
Thanks. That’s what I was expecting, a steel tube with some sort of a hand grip. Measurements and a photo would be great.

David Eldred26 November 2024 at 10:27 #71846Thanks. The photo I was uploading is 160kb so shouldn’t be an issue. It was apparently there in the text view but wouldn’t display. I am familiar with uploading images but am at a loss as to what the problem was. The downside of WordPress I guess . . . but it’s free. I’m not a fan of WordPress – far to tortuous to get it to do what you want. You shouldn’t be uploading 4mb photos or anything like that size anyway.
Laurence has answered my question so no longer an issue this time.

David Eldred2 May 2024 at 07:23 #69196Images should be jpeg (eg my-image.jpg) and not too big. Try making them smaller – less kb – either by reducing the dimensions in pixels or compressing them a bit more (or a combination of both). Having spaces in the file name could be an issue too.

David Eldred1 April 2024 at 07:11 #68057have a look at this item on ebay. Scroll down to the description, it says he has an LG45 engine. Been there for a while so don’t know if he still has it.
David Eldred27 October 2023 at 14:05 #65675The problem with moving the engine back is the lack of room in the front chassis bracket. An 1/8th is probably all there is. Maybe removing the starting dog would be enough, however the photo in the spares listing shows it has an internal mounting thread, so maybe still not enough if the matching male thread sticks out too far? I imagine it might be difficult to undo anyway.
I’d be interested how you get on, Martin.
David Eldred21 November 2022 at 06:58 #58784How about a single post lift? Mobile, so you can park it in a corner when not in use. I considered one but you do need a ceiling height of at least 9 foot plus which I don’t have. Reasonable prices. . . .

David Eldred14 March 2022 at 08:55 #55010Yes I am aware the club make new ones. I was hoping to keep my original ones and that restoring them would be cheaper. I had a feeling that long ago there were people offering re-engraving. However a search of the internet has found nothing so far.
