Can someone tell me the width and height of the plate as shown in the attached photo. I have straightened the image in Photoshop so the proportions may be wrong.

I am not sure if you are having problems posting your photograph but the maximum photo size you can currently upload to the forum is 4MB. This should be large enough for most photographs, but if you have been manipulating it with Photoshop maybe its larger ? If that’s the problem perhaps you can resave it to a smaller file size ? If still struggling just contact me via [email protected] .
L C Hannam23 November 2024 at 10:32 #71832Hi David,
Hmm, the photo requirements on this site make uploading very difficult! Hopefully this will be improved; as things stand, we are pretty much denied showng photos, which is not really acceptable.
I’ve recently had my V12’s “Coachwork by LAGONDA” plates rechromed; there is a fair chance they are the same dimensions … although you can’t be sure of anything in the world of Staines.
25mm wide, 151mm long, 0.84 mm thick, mounting hole centre 137mm.
Hope this helps
Laurence

D C W Humphreys23 November 2024 at 22:12 #71835Would accept that a 4MB max photo size isnt perfect (and we will look at this again however it appears to be a restiction with the commercial software that we are using) but it should still be large enough to post most photographs…. all the photos on my iPhone15 are smaller than this. It would hence be helpful to better understand the problem, would you be able to forward a copy of the photo that you are having problems uploading to [email protected]. Thanks.
David Eldred26 November 2024 at 10:27 #71846Thanks. The photo I was uploading is 160kb so shouldn’t be an issue. It was apparently there in the text view but wouldn’t display. I am familiar with uploading images but am at a loss as to what the problem was. The downside of WordPress I guess . . . but it’s free. I’m not a fan of WordPress – far to tortuous to get it to do what you want. You shouldn’t be uploading 4mb photos or anything like that size anyway.
Laurence has answered my question so no longer an issue this time.
David
