I guessed correctly, would be nice to unit the car and handbook..

By chance I picked up the hand-book of LB290/1/265 a little while ago, the car sold at Bonhams several years ago, so if the current owner ever reads this forum, please be in contact..

Barn finds with wonderful history and great names are always going to do well…

Just add that straw, sawdust and good advertising … 😀 😀 😀

This thread and related one go back to June 2014, clearly so cars don’t sell at inflated prices or perhaps poor quality interior, indifferent paint-work etc maybe the real reasons.

The Real Car Company had a lovely example at ?95k recently, that sold very quickly and to a new club member

“Surely, this has to be quite the most hideous ‘restoration’ of a Lagonda ever seen. The owner should be flogged publicly.”

I would just shoot him, why waste good leather, you will need that in the restoration..

This beast is back up for sale again:

    Exterior Colour Green
    Interior Colour Cream

Hideous inside, best to start again as a rolling chassis, everything is findable..

Looking at the results, a lot of unsold cars with over inflated estimates.

However, the Feltham cars did well overall for once at Bonham’s
