    Hi, a little anecdote you might find interesting as there is currently a topic about the Jackall system.

    Back in the 1950’s my father Jim had a puncture in our V12 Rapide on the middle of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in peakhour on a very hot summer afternoon, +40 degC. In great haste he used the jackall system, changed the tyre and tried to drive away. No go: the jacks had buried themseles in the hot bitumen and would not retract.

    Since when there have always been thin blocks of wood in the boot of all the V12’s and DB’s that he used to drive as dailies until the 1970’s.
