I would like confirmation of the original finish on the cam covers of a 1938 V12 engine please
Brian, I believe polished alloy was the finish of most cam covers. Some were done in black enamel, possibly at the buyer’s request.
I base this opinion on having lived for about sixty years with eight V12s.
