Repaired the heater unit at the weekend, new name plate arrived today, always a pleasure to fit these small finishing touches…which no-one will ever see!
In the last image you can see how the car was made to be either left or right-hand-drive, both sides of the car are identical and allow for a steering column on either side with no structural alteration required.
A very nice job, up to your usual high standard of course, and I especially like the attention to detail with the Smiths name plate. Any chance for a close up of this please ?
Also a better view showing the dual possibilty left or right hand steering wheel column placement. That would be a great one for the book and clearly shows the car was made for both LHD and RHD markets.
