I am currently rebuilding my 2 Litre engine and when I opened the side plates of the block I discovered that there was an enormous amount of rust inside it. I heve scraped and wire-brushed most of it away so that there is a thin rusty layer left.
I was thinking – would it be a good idea to treat everything, including the outside cylinder walls, with Kurust before I put the side plates back?
Ideas or advice anyone?
