Following the recent breakdown, I’ve decided to bring the proposed engine rebuild forward. Little point in repairing the oil spray and bodging the failed water pump for just a couple of months driving before the temperature etc makes driving less pleasant in a car with just aeroscreens and no roof.
I will need to post the engine on a pallet etc, but I need to know how much a Meadows engine weighs so that the couriers will be able to quote and accommodate it. Ideally the weight with the engine complete. If you have the weight with components missing, that will be helpful, especially if I know which components aren’t included.
