The brake cross shaft on our M45 is suspended beneath the chassis by two alloy brackets and held in place by an ?end cap? that looks like a bit like a big end and is also cast alloy. One of our ?caps? has cracked at the mounting bolts. I have not been able to find replacements through the club or elsewhere and I am planning to get new ones cast here in Australia. Before proceeding, I wonder if anyone else has already cast replacement brake cross shaft mounting ?caps? or would like me to get some extras cast?
