Hi, I am a new member looking for a Rapide.
LR 113 seems on sale….has anybody any information on that car?
Thx and regards,
DirkDavid16 March 2012 at 15:20 #48820Hi Christian and Dirk, yes that’s LR113, owned by an ex-member of the Lagonda Club. It is also illustrated in Arnold Davey’s Lagonda book (1999). Records show it was restored 1990-1992 and was sold at auction in 1998
Lagondover8 April 2012 at 21:35 #48905Dirk,
I have recently seen this car – I was quite interested myself. Bodywork is still in quite good condition, but engine seems up for major repair job. Some other parts (e.g. rear shocks) are also in need repairs or some solid maintenance work.
I will be pleased to tell more if you are interested.
Regards, LagondoverSRD12 April 2012 at 11:07 #48916Good morning,
Can you please let me know me details about the car and price. Is it the car which was advertised in the January Lagonda Club newsletter or another car ?
If you don’t wish to post these details on the forum, please email me othwerwise.
Kind regards
Simon
Lagondover13 April 2012 at 08:28 #48920All, Alas! I am told the car has been sold in the meantime 🙁
SRD14 April 2012 at 22:56 #48928Thank you and I have also been told they are two different cars.
Kind regards and thank you for your replies

Do you know which LR the other one was and how much it went for?
Lagondover22 May 2012 at 21:30 #49203All,
I uploaded some short video’s of 113 – made when I was able to take a closer look at the car in March, 2012:

SRD22 May 2012 at 21:38 #49204Very, very nice indeed…
Why did you let this seemingly gorgeous car slip through your hands, or was it already sold ?
BTW, I really do think a Rapide looks fabulous on wire wheels…
Thank you for posting these links, greatly appreciated.
Lagondover23 May 2012 at 06:04 #49205Someone else had more awareness of its value I am afraid :(. But a man can grow a lot in two months. I now realize that I will probably have to bleed for my ignorance :
SRD23 May 2012 at 07:59 #49206There is no reason to bleed, use a plaster.
But, seriously, next time you hear of one, buy it, don’t wait for others to jump in.
Best of luck
Simon
