    There is a short clip of a low chassis Lagonda speed model (looks like a 2 litre) being demonstrated at Brooklands in 1930. The potential customer is The Maharajah of Jhalawar. The Pathe News film is headed ‘British are Best’. Unfortunately the number plate is not clear but Arnold probably knows which car it is likely to be (possibly the supercharged works demonstrator).

    Hi Roger,

    I agree, I think it is most likely to be the supercharged works demonstrator. By the look of it, it was a foul day for testing cars…
