Richard Branch7 November 2019 at 16:51 #53095How much did it sell for at Bonhams Goodwood Auction? Their website simply says sold without stating an amount.
7 November 2019 at 21:31 #53096I tried to find this out also but it was sold after the auction so there is no requirement to publish the sale price. Indeed it may have been a condition set by the dealer buyer that the price was not disclosed for obvious reasons! However, I heard a whisper that it was less than ?100k.
In relation to the current asking price, I was told many years ago by a car dealer that as a buyer you should not judge the profit the dealer will make (assuming you know the purchase price) but whether the asking price represents a good deal!
This car is a marriage albeit a good looking one.
Is a former LG45 saloon rebodied as an M45 T8 tourer but retaining much of the LG45 front end really worth original M45 money?
Guess it is down to individual choice.David Bracey7 November 2019 at 22:05 #53097Shame. Another rebodied Saloon. I dream of the day when people with convert them back!
Richard Branch8 November 2019 at 20:29 #53098I have since heard that it sold for ?104,000 by Bonhams and that Prestige & Vintage sold it for approaching ?200k
