Hi everyone, I am after some assistance if at all possible. I am looking for information and possible sources for a bendix gear that goes on the starter motor of a 1932 3 litre.
From what I can see it looks like the original was a Rotax starter motor? It has 11 teeth, possibly 10DP and inside the bore is what looks like a 3 start square thread of 4 12″ TPI. The shaft diameter it runs on is 23.8mm and the square thread looks to be 18″ wide. Does anyone know if these gears are availble anywhere or a comaptible one that could maybe be modified to sort the job out for me?
Maybe someone can verfiy the exact starter motor that was fitted to the car? and if there is any alternatives out there? cheers

Richard Jones should be able to help – he did have some in a big box! Good luck.

I think you will find him under T12 in the register of members. He is a 2 litre owner.

I can confirm his details are in the register given out to club members but not under T12.
