I have been trying very hard to have a clear out ! All circa 1932 3 litre parts. I have a windscreen which came off my 3 litre originally. It may be an altered 2 litre one – I am not sure. I took it off my 3 litre to put on a fold flat screen. I have tried to post a photo here but cannot work out how to resize it for posting. Let me know if you are interested and I will send a photo by email. Price ?300-400 ? Is that reasonable ?
Also have 4 engine mountings and various rectangular engine cover side plates. An original clutch and flywheel, a dynamo and the front engine casting (which has the magneto platform and water pump cross shaft etc). Also some camfollowers somewhere I think ! Member T16. I may have other smaller items if I can find them ! Send me an email or call for further information.
Many thanks.bill10 September 2019 at 09:04 #53058Sorry ! For some reason my post above has appeared in the Rapier section not the 3 litre section. I don’t know how to transfer it so will post it again now in the correct section.
Apologies !Richard Branch11 September 2019 at 16:43 #53060Hi Bill, I am not a 3 Litre aficionado so should I take it that this is non-folding screen?
I own a 16/80 which has a screen the opens from the bottom and the idea of a fold down screen rather appeals to me but by the sound of it that’s exactly what you did to your 3 Litre too.

Yes it is a screen which opens out forwards at the bottom. I replaced it in order to have a screen that folded down from the top so that I could have aero screens.Richard Branch14 February 2020 at 22:52 #53117Hi Bill, out of interest, because I want to do the same on my 16/80, what folding screen did you use? Was it from a 2 litre?
bill16 February 2020 at 14:05 #53118Hi Rich
The screen that I used was a Bentley screen where the aero screens doubled as wind deflectors when the screen is up. I got the bare side castings from James E.Pearce Bentley Specialists. They also supplied me with some of the brass rails etc and I made it all up so that it fitted the car. You need to be able to do silver soldering ! -
