A 3.0 litre Lagonda 4-door saloon from ca. 1955-56. The registration number is one which is not on the data-base of NWO 32.
The car has been rolled as the roof damage shows; front end and bulkhead are intact. Hover, the accident damage, broke the widow frame, bent the central metal b-post, so doors sag downwards and a whole host of other structural issues.
Car is complete with its DB 4-speed gearbox, pretty much wrecked interior, steering column and rack and 4-star diff possibly; chrome work stripped off.
Just possibly may have its instruments, but can’t see, clearly a here to sell estimate, so someone may pick up a very useful pile of spares…

SRD29 September 2014 at 14:34 #51002This car sold for ?1200 + BP – basically a hulk with valuable 4-speed DB gearbox, valuable V5 ID etc.
I am guessing (hopefully!) that the buyer of the 2 door Coupe purchased this for spares, including the radiator grill and other valuable trim and chrome parts etc…
