    2 Litre High Chassis

2 questions if I may (photos attached)

Question 1. My starter couplings are very loose (especially the one nearest the starter / hidden inside the chassis crossmember). They appear to be push-fit or possibly riveted onto the yokes. Is there any easy-ish way to tighten them? The starter works fine but I worry these won’t last forever in the state they’re in plus the shaft is pretty wobbly….

Question 2. I have 4 starter motors form other cars and want to move these on but need to check first that there isn’t anything I should salvage for my 2 Litre starter, particularly around the Bendixes. The two Rotax starters have pinion gears with 10 and 12 teeth which I think means they won’t be any use. Can anyone confirm this? Very interested in any thoughts on any of these please.

    Many thanks
