My 2L has always run hot despite a clean block, recored radiator and tube blocking the bypass channels. Clearly there should be baffle plates separating the matrix portion of the header tank from the bypass channels and I’m wondering whether, unlikely as it seems, such plates are actually missing in my radiator. I’ve tried to peer in using an endoscope but without much success. I would really welcome any information on the internal structure of the 2 Litre radiator. Thanks!
