Oil Plugs filter points

Hi Everybody
What Oil, Plugs, filter, and points or you using on your 3 ltr. What oils are you using in gearbox, axel and other lubrication areas??

What I would like to do is put together a service, lubrication and general servicing handout for the DB cars any help and information would be very welcome.

Hello everybody

I own a copy of the DB 2.6 Litre Instruction book and have scanned the lubrication chart and the list of recommended oils etc. These are attached here as JPEGs. This book is dated December 1950.

I would expect that the 3L is similar. Obviously the recommended oils should be updated to modern versions and this would be a fruitful topic for discussion in this forum.

I use modern oil and full-flow oil filter in my 1927 2 Litre.

I can also scan the detailed servicing data pages.
