Just a note to say I am currently selling this thermostat on ebay (link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322334610617?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 ).
I was told many years ago that this was the correct fitting for the 2.6 and 3 Litre. It is stamped UE3531, which is the Rolls-Royce part number, but also the Smiths number: Y30065/40, which might be more helpful. Mentioned on here in case this is of interest; but do please check first that it is correct for these models.
