As I am writing this LR124 is being auctioned at Bonhams. The description says that it is believed to have been driven by David Brown: the car was built for internal use by Aston Martin Lagonda and it was “specified from new in David Brown’s favourite shade – Roman Purple (…)”. These facts “might well suggest that the car was ordered for Mr Brown’s personal use”.
Is there anyone on the Forum who would know more of the relationship between this car and David Brown?
