Looks to be very nice, will be interesting to see what it makes under the hammer on the 17th of July
David5 July 2014 at 18:04 #50925I agree, it will be very interesting to see what it makes, to confirm or otherwise if 108 was on trend from 129 or an outlier. I’d suppose the reserve would be ?110-120k?
David10 July 2014 at 16:48 #50929Withdrawn from the auction for aparent want of some parts to complete the works, but still available for sale by private treaty
SRD4 September 2014 at 15:23 #50980Re-entered at Brightwell’s on 24th September, and it looks impressive and a credit to the current owner. Minor niggle, wheel embellishers missing, aside from that the Dubonnet looks great.
I note, not showing up on the catalogue yet, give it a day or two..
SRD4 September 2014 at 16:47 #50987The car is now appearing on the auction web-site with a large number of recent pictures. Richard looks to have really brought this car back up to an excellent standard, and a lot of work has been done

I am pleased that he has simply had the interior restored and kept the original ivory-white finish and the car is still on its correct Solex carbs.
The car unusually with heavily restored and re-chromed original bumpers; makes a change from stainless steel
Could never work out why the owner didn’t sort out local storage for the car in London, so he could enjoy it more ?
I hope to see the car in person and take more pictures for myself and Gilbert.
