    Dear users of this forum:

make sure you have the right to publish if you scan something and put it on this forum or somewhere else on the internet. Pages from books or articles from journals and newspapers generally can not be used, only if you have the written permission from the owner of the copyright.

There may be cases where a problem is less probabel (old technical info sheets, technical drawings) but only because it is now unlclear who owns the rights.

You can link to something already on the internet

And of course you can use all you created yourself (text, drawings, pictures)

In any case you publish at your own risk. I will and can not check for copyrights of your posts, I assume you did that. I will add this point to Forum Rules

    Regards
    Peter

    Dear Peter,

Good point about the possible copyrights. It may be helpful to add some information on the notion ‘old’. As a general rule (at least in Europe), copyrights provide for protection for the life of the author of a work and for 70 years after his death. In cases where the author is unknown or is identified by a fictitious name on the work, or in case the work has been published by a company without mentioning an author, the term of protection is 70 years after the work is lawfully made available to the public.
