I have a 1931 2L Tourer and have lost the V5C. DVLA need the VIN and I can’t find it anywhere on the vehicle. Can any one advise me where to look?

….of course, it doesn’t have a modern VIN which began only in about 1981. Up till then the chassis & engine numbers were the defining identification, and I have just found the brass plate with those numbers.
