My Battery is in 2015 and I think it may need replacing. However, there is nothing on the battery.
What size and type should I buy?

I fitted a UK100E Platinum Prestige in my 2 Litre High Chassis in 2010 and it still seems to be working fine (famous last words), although I do keep it connected to a CTEK charger when not in use.
I would suggest that you double check the dimensions etc (below) before purchasing.

    Specifications
    Voltage: 12v
    CCA (SAE): 670
    AH-20hr-rate:Â 70
    Layout: 0
    Terminals:Â T1
    Hold Downs: B13
    Dimensions: Length 278mm  Width 175mm  Height 175mm.
    Platinum Battery 12v – 096E

Whilst they still appear to be for sale, I suspect you might also be able to buy an equivalent from suppliers such as Eurocarparts – I think (dont know for sure) that you would be looking for an 096 type but again you would need to check the dimensions/spec.

Michael, if you are looking for a traditional looking battery Lincon Batteries in Essex sell rubber cased, black topped batteries for vintage and classic cars and have an excellent reputation. https://www.lincon.co.uk/classic_car_batteries.html

Hi, Thanks for the information, I have had the battery checked and it is OK. Unlike the Dynamo which is not working. So need to get it repaired.
