    I am loosing count of the number of 2.6 dhc’s appearing now.

    This example is a complete barn find, and with engine and gearbox. The car has been stored since 1966, so will have all the usual rust gremlims to sort, leather work and engine / mechanicals etc.

    Engine with 85,000 miles on it and factory records until 1959.

    Chassis Number LAG /50/276
    Engine Number LB6A/50/348

    Car is being sold by Le Riche in Jersey.

    These dealers have had this car for 18 months and seem to be unable to climb down from their figure of ca. ?25k.

    Shame the car just sits there and an enthusiast doesn’t get stuck in. But at this price it seems rather expensive, and I feel the 2.6 cars are still an unknown quantity in the market-place..

    I should have added, this car has been for sale through a dealer in Lincs as well, two people appear to have ownership of this barn-find;

    The car was also shown for sale at the Spring Beaulieu in 2013 if my memory serves me correctly…

    This car still for sale after nearly two years, must have been purchased for a song.

    Perhaps, he might do better , by placing it for sale at one of the “barn find fresh” auctions……………
