I’m in the process of sorting out the horn on my 2 litre which clicks but doesn’t hoot. Can anyone tell me what the component on the left of this photo is? It looks like a capacitor. If so how do I test it? I know the wiring looks horrible and I’ll replace that. Any other advice welcome.
Problem solved! Cleaned up the contacts, rewired the components, adjusted the large plate underneath and it now works fine.
