The Club makes a rough bronze casting which will need polishing and plating. The thread will also need to be cut. The part number is CST208.
This is the ‘T’ bar version used on High Chassis cars and Low Chassis cars up to around 1930 when it was replaced by the flip over lever type.
The Club spares officer is Robin Cooke on +44 1728 604040. You have to be a current paid-up member of the Lagonda Club to buy spares. You also need to check whether this part is in stock.
Robin may be able to arrange to have the casting machined and polished/plated, though this would ba a private arrangement with him and not through the Club.

I tried the club twice; first time I had no answer at all, second time Colin Bugler ,always very kind and helpful ,answered me and told me to try to have a cap for me, apparently without success.This was at least one year ago.
Should I try a third time…?
Anyhow I would prefer the the later flip over lever type, but even a rough casting would be better than no cap at all.Regards
