    Has this topic been covered previuosly? I’ve just finished a standard repair on the rear seal of my 2.6. I took a ‘Speedy sleeve’, some Loctite ‘super blue’, a catalogue neoprene seal, a lathe and an angle grinder and 36hrs of my time to replace the dreaded labyrinth/screw seal. Careful measurement was the most demanding feature of this job, coupled with an attitude of ‘who dares-wins!’ If any owner would like details I am happy to communicate and supply sketches and dimensions.
