    I spotted these sad remains of two fine cars on eBay recently.

    1. A very sad 2.6 dhc in red; engine/box gone; body panels resting on remains of ash frame; engine bay hacked about badly after aborted fitment of Jaguar engine

    #LAG/50/472 2129 23121952 Post-War DB2.6 DB2.6 unknown LB6A/50/551 DHC Lagonda

    Currently dreadful red respray, floors gone, seats very poor, instruments removed, loom gone – a parts car. The car is in Southern Ireland near Killurin, Wexford.

    LAG/50/414 2083 121951 Post-War DB2.6 DB2.6 unknown LB6A/50/473 Sln Lagonda

    UK registered and this was HMW 352

    Currently dead and ruined paint, floors poor, seats and interior beyond dreadful, instruments present, loom for dustbin, along with wooden frame – a parts car. The car is in Southern Ireland near Killurin, Wexford.

    The two cars and part of a spare 2.6 dhc body sold for just over ?5000.
