Yet another 3.0 litre dhc appears for sale, this one is in the UK, and it is an early car, a Mk 1 model.

However, I suspect this could have been one of the Brooklands bodied batch of 2.6 Mk 2 chassis’s. The engine appears to be a 2.6 litre unit in there, with early style thermostat housing. This was changed for the oblong casting when the 3.0 litre engine is present. Many were upgraded later to the 3.0 litre unit, I wonder if the engine is original, would be nice if it was ?

Car looks to be very smart and asking price is ?50 k

Red paint work, standard tan interior with tan colored hood and split bar rear-window, and engine bay is nicely detailed, and old semaphore side indicators are still present..

    Hi Simon,

Well spotted re the 2.6 engine – of course, it might just be non-original. Nice looking car, although the ‘red’ is ‘wrong’ and there are a few minor bits missing.
