Another interesting and seemingly off the road for years car coming up at H & H on 16th June, looks a very interesting project for someone, and no reserve again..

    Chassis Number: LAG/50/345

    Engine Number: LB6A/50/523

The Lagonda has been fitted with a correct-type replacement engine that was purchased from AML in 1967 but “has yet to run since its pre-delivery, 30-minute factory test” – the original unit is available by separate negotiation. The interior trim is described as being in “very good condition but needing a good clean and conditioner”. A unique opportunity to bring a 2.6 Litre back to life.

This car sold for a substantial 17,160 pounds including buyers premium; but came with the bonus of a barely run in engine fitted by AM in 1967; the option to buy the original engine as well.

A strong price for a drop head 2.6 litre needing lots of work!
