I have come across a Lagonda 4 door 2.6 litre saloon for sale.
http://www.classicandsportscar.com/classiccarsforsale/lagonda/56415
and also at :http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C292242
This 2.6 saloon from ca. 1950 in Cornwall, massive rust, and no doubt very, very rotten ash frame. Buckets of work and more..
How sad, that the owner, couldn’t have made a little more effort to store the car under dryer conditions.
Plus points engine and gear box and complete car, but very, over-priced at 10,000 pounds +
The car is known to the club.
KInd regards and I have a number of pictures if anyone would like me to forward them, email me please.

I offered the owner 5k and this was declined, not that I need another project, but the wooden frame is straight-forward. However, the biggest issue is the car is left outside and there is a great deal of rust and rot in the steel floor; of course there is a potential engine rebuild as well.
Best of luck to anyone who goes for it, but do keep your eyes open.
