    Hello,

I am interested in the 1935 Lagonda Rapier found in California from the shop called “Fantasy Junction”, http://www.fantasyjunction.com

I am hoping someone may be familiar with the car and might be able to provide some insight.

I look forward to your responses.

    Thank You,

    Duke

I do not know very much about Rapiers, from what I see it looks like a very low body (not original, made for racing) mecanically it looks good, much work seems to have been done as suggests the claimed 120kGBP spent. I would call Bishopgray for more information as they are mentioned to have done all the work on this car. They may also know how much has been changed on the car (supercharger?). Search this forum for Bishopgray phone numbers.

This Rapier TH 5734 was originally an Abbott FHC. It was rebuilt as a 2 seater in 1963 and again in 1975. In 1999 it was in London UK
I notice from the web site the car has now been sold.

    Fantastic little car!
The car passed through our workshop before going to the US.
We sorted a few things out and rolling roaded it etc.
It goes very well for an 1100cc car! Great condition and for that money I would say it was a fair price! Car “IS” as good as the pictures show! Hope the new owner enjoys using it!

    Julian
