My 14/60 dynamo has a steel disc at the dynamo end of the drive shaft. The other end has a Flex Drive. The steel disc is broken, but the Club don’t list a replacement.

I have the facilities to make a new one, but need advice as to the best metal/material to use.

    Unless someone has a spare……………

    Hi Steve

I have the same arrangement. I think a nice piece of spring steel would do the job. You will have to drill it fairly accurately and then bolt it up.

Took the dynamo off altogether and….. When I’d had the cradle bolts replaced with larger ones, and the holed re-drilled & re-tapped, I’d failed to notice that the new bolt head were stopping the dynamo being a snug fit in the cradle. Half an hour with the mini-grinder, and now the shaft alignment is spot-on!! The joys of old motors…..
