In previous years I had my medical done at the December Driving Tests. The volunteer doctors asked for a charity donation of ?50 -expensive for a 10 min test, but it was all in a good cause. This year I couldn’t go to the driving tests so asked my own GP who wanted ?90 ! I made enquiries with other doctors and was quoted ?35, ?25, and ?20. The moral of this story is you don’t have to go to your own doctor, so ask around and don’t get ripped off !
