2 nights based at Dartington Hall, near Totnes, easy to get to from the A38, which is itself just off the M5, with a tour on the amazing roads across, around, up and down the moor, covering many of the best spots in Dartmoor.

Dartmoor is home to the tors, lovely towns and villages, Buckfast Abbey, clapper bridges, gorges, prehistoric settlements, etc, etc. I’m devising various length routes. So you can mooch around one of the routes, stopping as you please at some of the sights/walks/visits, and maybe a treasure hunt to add extra interest. No pressure though – do as much or as little of it all as you like.
Dartington Hall is a destination in itself. It was the birthplace of Dartington Glass, and the estate has its own pub, cafes, shops and gardens. And for the shoppers amongst you, towns like Ashburton are charming, and there is always Trago Mills just around the corner for the die-hards.
