Actually it is not a 16/80 radiator, which is flat at the bottom and the starting handle passes underneath, rather than through it.
I hav a few nice pictures of a 16/80 radiator but they have a big format. If anybody could explain to me how to reduce the format I can upload them.
I think the radiator in question is from a standard Rapier.

“A Lagonda radiator” – It would help to know first which type Lagonda….

What is the reason why you wish to increase the castor angle of the front axle?

Could you at least tell us where this car is being offered for sale? All you give are the (very exciting) pictures.

Very useful advice indeed – however, there are a few other methods of selling your car; via eBay (and you can, as with every auction, determine your own reserve price) or you can give it in commission to a dealer; you name your price and the dealer sells it for you – what ever he makes more he may keep. The advantages of this are that the car will be nicely displayed and you don’t have to take care of potential buyers yourself. And not every dealer is a crook – many of them have an excellent reputation and can often find the right buyer for you.

What sort of price do you have in mind?

I have to get back on that last report – insofar that during a just completed 10 day drive of 1100 miles through northern Spain and the French Dordongne I was able to do a very accurate measurement and the final conclusion is that my 2 Litre Lagonda has an average fuel consumption of 26.5 MPG.

Yes it is there – many thanks. But it cannot be found on “eBay world” (which is supposed to list everything). Again, I am sure many people will miss this item.

I hate to say this – but it doesn’t. No matter where I look on eBay; this engine does not come up, unless I use the number you provided.
I think many people, like me, will not find it (even if they are on the lookout for Lagonda stuff) and this might indeed go cheap as a result!

What I don’t understand is how you found this? If I search Ebay with the keyword “Lagonda” is does not come up….

I did a lot of driving over the last few days and I have done a more accurate measurement of the fuel consumption of my car and I fear that it is somewhat less optimistic. It turns out to be 24 mpg; still quite nice for a 2 Litre and certainly better then with the previous valve timing. Also the car runs much smoother.

I average 27 MPG with my Lagonda 2 Litre – a bit better if I would always stick to the speed limits and drove somewhat more carefully! Because of the high-compression pistons, I use Super (“four star” or 97 octane) petrol.

I have send copies of my 2 Litre valve/camshaft timing manual to a number of members, but would like to add that after some trial and error I discovered that the optimum timing for the Newman camshafts as supplied by the Lagonda Club is for the inlet valves to open at 15 degrees BTDC and the exhaust valves to be fully closed at 12 degrees ATDC (unchanged), resulting in an overlap of 27 degrees.
I have discussed this with David Newman himself and he agrees with these values, rather than the original specifications of 12/12. It makes a surprising difference; the engine runs much smoother with this setting and is significantly more economical on petrol.

Bob, if you have everything so perfectly sorted out and are so sure about the Scintilla GN4 magneto not being right, too big, needing different clamps and another plate – why did you ask the question in the first place?
I took a lot of trouble writing answers, providing the name and number of a first class magneto expert, uploading pictures etc. – only to be told that you know better anyway.
Don’t expect anymore advice from me.

That looks very nice indeed – but that magneto appears to be of the same size as the Scintilla GN4 . The clamping arrangement is also similar.
