Dear all
I am have restored my good old Lagonda (see above) recently and due to the fact that the old windshield rubbers were rotten and totally dried out I am now desperately searching for ?new? windshield-rubbers. I tried a lot of contacts, but unfortunately until tdy nobody was able to help me with my search. :{ :help:
Pls see the two attached pics (car and profil of the rubber).
Are you able to help my and do you know, who might have such rubbers in stock or do you know someone, I might contact?
Thank you very much for your help

Lovely looking car, by the way. Have you had her long?
Regards,
Tim
David Bracey13 May 2016 at 05:20 #51945I’ve never understood why there are so many different profiles of windscreen rubber when they all do virtually the same job. Why?
Not only do the profiles vary (a lot) but the rubber hardness and flexibility also varies making the job downright unpleasant.

yep, you are god d… right…..
That’s the problem! :help: :'(
It seems as if we will have to use a rubber, whart is far away fm the originals, once used….. :
I want the car to be back on the road again 😎 🙂dierkberl22 May 2016 at 07:53 #51961Hi Tim ,

Dierkdierkberl15 June 2016 at 20:19 #52011Dear all ,
I do not give up my hope to find the suitable windshield rubbers for my Lagonda…. !
Pls see the pics attached.
In the meantime we have fixed the windshield with “other” rubbers and you can see that the face of the car lacks the smile of the beautiful integrated chrome strips of the original rubbers….
For a better understanding…., we have the chrome strips but not the suitable profiles…
Who knows someone hiding these rubbers in his barn…. 😉 ?
Thanks again
Brgds
