Rapides used Rootes door buttons from the Humber Sceptre. Whilst searching for a replacement lock for one of my other cars, I noted that the Rover P5 made at the same time as the Rapide uses near identical lock buttons. So perhaps all sourced from Rootes ?

Didn’t Christian find that the outer door handles are also P5? So probably the innards as well.
Maybe something for your website Simon, a list of which parts bins bits came from.
The handles areRover P5 but not the P5B, as I found to my cost sometime ago, but you live and learn.
Good idea – David, we have a quite a parts list from my car and C.’s old list as well.
