Does anyone recognise the Lagonda radiator shell currently on e bay? I’m looking for a shell, slats and radiator for my M45 saloon ‘kit’, almost the last 3 items to complete the parts to put an orphan M45 saloon body(removed to make another Le Mans replica) back onto an original M45 chassis. It’s taken 10 years of searching to collect all the bits and even a damaged shell, even without slats is a step nearer.

It has a lot of similarities to an LG45 shell, but it’s not. LG45 shells have a cut out three quarters up the sides to fit round the head light bar. Also LG45s don’t have the upstand round the filler hole. The shape at the bottom is very similar though. From looking at a few M45 pix I feel you may be in luck.

It was just about right for me, considering it needs some professional repair and replating.
It obviously needs the slats and the operating mechanism but it’s a bit I needed for my saloon kit of parts. I’ve got the slats lined up but does anyone have an M45 radiator, good or scrap for a pattern – anything will do.
