thanksChristian4 May 2013 at 19:43 #50154It’s unlikly that the original loop pile carpet is available – I’ve looked long and hard. Over the next few months I’m going to try and find something similar and will let you know what I find…

I would suggest following David’s advice, these people have an excellent reputation in the AML world
The phone number is 01273 891989
Nothing to loose and yes if you want carpeting for your boot because it is worn out,a good place to start. Same material used for all the NP DB cars as well.

i will do as you sugest and call lincoln scott in lewesChristian10 May 2013 at 15:01 #50158If he does have any original type carpet would you mind letting me know. Most of mine is fine but I don’t want two different types of carpet – I think black pile is the only other alternative I can find. I’ve actually drawn up every bit of carpet both in the boot and cabin so I can have it remade – I know how to have fun!
Christian14 May 2013 at 11:17 #50162I may have sourced a good match for the original carpet, I’m going to look at it tomorrow. if it is right I’ll probably have enough left over for what you need. I’ll let you know…
Christian15 May 2013 at 21:03 #50163I bought some new boot carpet today – it looks a closer match IRL – the photo in the link shows the original on top of the new…
SRD16 May 2013 at 21:46 #50167That is a very good match – well done!
Perhaps you could share the source with us. In my boot, it is the large floor mat which suffered when front brake caliper fluid split on it during storage.
SRD17 May 2013 at 13:26 #50169Thanks for the contact, greatly appreciated.
Since I only need the boot carpet floor section piece replacing – actually, a 3 inch x 3 inch section from this, I will wait until I find a closer match, or maybe have the carpet repaired locally.
Christian17 May 2013 at 15:11 #50170Quite a bit of my old carpet is good so you could have some of that, then you would have a perfect match…
