Bezels for Dashboard Instruments

Good evening all
Need to get my dashboard instruments serviced / spruced up and wondered if any of you know what the correct finish was for the bezels on and LG45? I have seen them chromed but also in satin black as on WO Bentleys etc.
Mine are painted black but were chrome underneath so it seems they were originally chrome. Anyone know for certain?

Mine are satin black but I dare say you could have ordered them a different finish if you wished.

Just had a good look at my very original and unmolested LG45 dashboard and the original un-restored instruments bezels are definitely satin black….
