Dear Adrian,
the only information I have is from the V12/LG6 Chassis handbook from David Hine, he writes that for the non purist if you want to make a front one, with some modification you can use an anti roll bar from Bentley MK VI.
I don?t remember if he says something about the standard rear one and if the MK VI can help here too
Peterh141 December 2008 at 12:42 #47490Hi Adrian,
I have a V12 with original factory body & is missing the ARB. There is no way one would bolt onto the holes in the shock absorber lever arms without fouling the underside of the floor. It is a late car (1940 & entirely rebuilt by the factory in 1945) so it is quite possible the factory did away with them. The shock absorbers were replaced with non-adjustable ones in 1953 & it is possible the lever arms were mounted higher up the unit than the original pattern ones, but I would have thought that unlikely. My understanding is there are arguments for & against ARBs, & certainly the handling was fine … never felt “I must get an ARB!” I’d certainly check & see if fitting is viable first.

It’s worth contacting Robin Cooke. As well as being the Lagonda Spares man, he is a purveyor of Rolls and Bentley parts and may be able to help. Phone number 01728 604040
