SUMMARY:East Midlands Pub Meet
DESCRIPTION:The East Midlands chapter of the Lagonda Club\, will be very pleased to meet members of the Club and that of the Rapier Register at a pub gathering to be held at The Wheatsheaf Inn\, Woodhouse Eaves\, LE12 8SS. \nThe inn is in a particularly attractive part of Leicestershire\, towards the North of the county\, close to Bradgate forest and the Old John promontory. \nI hope members from Derbyshire\, Leicestershire\, Lincolnshire\, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire will find the location reasonably central and provide an agreeable drive from their garages. \nWhat better excuse to get your Lagonda out in Autumn than to drive to a good pub in a lovely setting\, have a relaxed\, informal lunch and a nice chat to fellow Lagonda Club members and admire an elegance of Lagonda. \nAs above\, it is proposed to meet at midday onwards\, to sit down to eat\, drink\, chat and be jolly. \nTo assist the lovely Vicky\, the pub’s landlady\, think about numbers\, and provide food in a timely fashion it would be very helpful to drop me a short email as below if you think you might be joining us. \nJohn Boyes. \nEast Midlands Area Representative. \njohn.s.boyes@btinternet.com \n01455 556015 (h)  Preferred. \n07921 890061 (m)  In extremis. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:West Midlands Pub Meet
DESCRIPTION:I have been to The Chequers at Crowle which has a very large car park and the beer is good! It is a little more modern than we are used to\, but is worth a visit. I have therefore arranged to go on Tuesday 11th October at around 12 to 12.30 p.m. Most of us are retired\, and my regrets to those who work and cannot attend\, but I need to do something to try and keep meetings going. I hope you will be able to join Jennifer and me. The pub is  at Crowle Green\, Crowle and within easy reach of J.6 of the M5\,. The post code is WR7 4AA tel 01905 381772
