SUMMARY:Thames Valley Pub meet - 3rd October
DESCRIPTION:The next Meeting is on Sunday 3 October at the same idyllic location of the George on the Green pub  from midday\, which is dog friendly.  The pub website is @ www.georgeonthegreen.co.uk    Although Holyport is only c 1 mile from the M4 near Maidenhead it is also very accessible by back roads\,quiet lanes and across country along the Thames Valley and there is plenty of safe parking spaces on the village green. \nWe already expect additional Members to attend\, as they were not able to last Sunday due to pre-commitments\, but please also encourage other family members and your Lagonda friends to join us. \nIf they haven’t a Lagonda then ask them to bring any other interesting period car along-all are sincerely welcome

SUMMARY:2021 Annual Gathering
DESCRIPTION:As has already been announced\, COVID – 19 permitting\, the 2021 Annual Gathering of the Club  will be held on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September\, at a new venue:  The Mercure Warwickshire Walton Hall Hotel & Spa Walton\, CV35 9HG\, Warwickshire \nWith easy  access  from  the  M40\,  this  4-star   hotel   is   situated   not   far   from Stratford-upon-Avon.  It is built round  a 16th  century Grade II listed building set in 65   acres   of   private   grounds.  Leisure facilities include spa treatment rooms\, a    swimming pool\, and a gym. \nThe board’s decision to move this annual event to a more central location is intended to make it attractive to a wider circle of members. \nThe weekend will include the usual events and activities\, i.e. \n\nSaturday afternoon                                                    Drive with treasure hunt and afternoon tea\nSaturday evening                                                        Gala Dinner\nSunday morning                                                         Display of Lagondas\nAnnual General Meeting of the Lagonda Club    Buffet Lunch\nSunday afternoon                                                      Presentations\n\n  \nThe Club has reserved 40 double rooms for Saturday night 25  September\, and a few for  the Friday night  24  and Sunday night 26 .  The agreed rate is £115.00 per room per night double occupancy (£105.00  per room per night single occupancy) including full English breakfast. DESCRIPTION:The Wroxham Bure Valley Rotary Club are again organising their Classic Car Show at Wroxham Barns\, Norfolk\, in aid of the Nancy Oldfield Trust on the 12th September\, the Trust is based at Neatishead on the Norfolk Broads and provides boating opportunities and water-based activities for disabled and disadvantaged people from anywhere in the United Kingdom. \nWroxham Barns are providing a dedicated field for the event. DESCRIPTION:Hilary & I have today visited The George On The Green @ Holyport and spoken to both the Manager and the Owner and agreed to start our 1st Sunday of the Month Pub Meet from Sunday 5 September from noon \nJeff & Hilary Leeks have offered to host the 1st Sunday of the month pub meets\, commencing Sunday 5 September @ noon so it gives you a chance to use your own lovely Lagonda throughout the year\, come hell or high water and any reason you have for a leisurely drive at least monthly The location may vary as and when it coincides with alternative Events or your own personal recommendations to try another pub occasionally but this will be notified monthly in advance \nThe George On The Green\, Holyport is a very pretty 16th Century pub located overlooking a country village green setting\, nr the M4\, but very accessible by back roads\, quiet lanes and across country along the Thames Reach \nThe accommodation within the pub is very clean and warming or you can sit outside overlooking the Green or even in their own small garden under a Gazebo for a BBQ when weather permits\, besides the nice Sunday Menu-a sample is shown which offers a roast/s and a varied choice of Mains at reasonable prices. Dogs on a lead are allowed in certain areas inside The George. SUMMARY:Aston Martin/Lagonda Heritage Trust Meet
DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \nOn the 26th June the Aston Martin Heritage Trust is holding an Heritage Festival at Dallas Burston Polo Club. This is a Heritage Trust event. The Lagonda Heritage Trust will also be taking part of this interesting event. \nThe event has an educational slant to it with all cars are being parked by era. Post-War Lagondas are already listed and included in the Feltham\, V8 & Gaydon groups with the Pre-War Lagondas adjacent to the Pre-War Astons. \nThere will be display boards for each section and a guided walk through the carparks telling the story of Aston Martin and Lagonda. \nThis is probably one of the firstpost COVID lock-down events so please come and have an enjoyable day and at the same time support both the Aston MArtin and Lagonda Heritage Trusts
