SUMMARY:West Mids Pub Meet
DESCRIPTION:I have arranged a meeting at The Old Bull Inn at Inkberrow Worcestershire WR7 4DZ for Thursday 24th October at around 12 to 12.30 p.m. It is a lovely traditional English pub and the inspiration for The Archer’s pub. You may wish to look at their website which includes the food. Click on the link below. \nIf you intend to join us it would help if you let me know either by email or phone 07816668065 as it helps Mishelle the landlady to plan\, but otherwise just turn up. \n**Please note** confusingly there is a pub called The Bull’s Head on the main road in the village. Do not go there (unless you wish to avoid us) but instead turn into the road opposite and you will immediately see our venue.

SUMMARY:Bluebells and Cowslips Scenic Drive
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Bluebells & Cowslips run will be on Sunday 19th May.  We are planning to make our way from the Maybush to the Fawley Hill Steam & Vintage Transport Festival where Lady McAlpine has kindly offered us our own parking area.  We hope to set off a little earlier than in previous years to make the most of the festival and Sharon at the Maybush has kindly agreed to serve breakfast snacks from 9am.  Please use this link to register your vehicle which includes 2 event wristbands.  Registration is free\, although there is the opportunity to make a voluntary donation\, so please do register even if you are planning to see what the weather is like before deciding to come.  (It will time out if you are too slow so be prepared with the name of your insurers and policy number plus a brief description of the vehicle.)  Please tick the Sunday box (plus any other days you plan to visit the event!) and enter Pre-War Wheels as your club.  Although some have already told me they are intending to take part\, it would help my planning (and peace of mind) if you can drop me a line when you have registered.

SUMMARY:East Midlands Area Pub Meet
DESCRIPTION:The East Midlands chapter of the Lagonda Club\, encourage and will be very pleased to meet members of The Club and that of the Rapier Register at a pub gathering to be held at The Coopers Arms\, Weston-On-Trent\, Derbyshire\, DE72 2BJ on Saturday 13th April 2024\, 12.30 onwards. \nChanging from last year’s Leicestershire venue\, we move slightly North-West into Derbyshire.  The pub is in an interesting part of Derbyshire\, close to the banks of the River Trent and not far from Donnington Park circuit.  It has a reputation as being very car friendly and is a longtime meeting place of the AMOC and through the Summer months holds vintage/classic car meets. \nI hope members from Derbyshire\, Leicestershire\, Lincolnshire\, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire will find the location reasonably easy to get to and provide an agreeable drive from their garages. \nWhat better excuse to get your Lagonda out in the Spring than to drive to a good pub in a lovely setting\, have a relaxed\, informal bite to eat and a nice chat to fellow Lagonda Club members and admire an elegance of Lagonda. \nAs above\, it is proposed to meet around 12.30 onwards\, to sit down to eat\, drink\, chat and be jolly. \nIt would be very helpful if you would kindly drop me a short email as below to let me know that you might be joining us.  I really look forward to meeting you all. \nBest wishes and happy motoring to all\, \nJohn Boyes. \nEast Midlands Area Representative.
