DESCRIPTION:Bookings for this event has now closed.  Please contact Rodney Saunders for any late bookings\, by telephone on 01444 811598 or\, preferably\, by email to rodneysaunders@clara.net\n  \nFor the 2022 Annual Gathering of the Club\, to be held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September\, we are returning to  The Mercure Warwickshire Walton Hall Hotel & Spa\, Walton\, Warwickshire\, CV35 9HG. \nWith easy access from the M40\, this 4-star hotel is situated not far from Stratford-upon-Avon. It is built round a 16th century Grade II listed building set in 65 acres of private grounds. Leisure facilities include spa treatment rooms\, a swimming pool\, and a gym.  The board’s decision to move this annual event to a more central location is intended to make it attractive to a wider circle of members. \nThe weekend will follow the usual format\, i.e. \nSaturday afternoon           To be arranged \nSaturday evening               Gala Dinner \nSunday morning                Display of Lagondas \nAnnual General Meeting of the Lagonda Club \nBuffet Lunch \nSunday afternoon              Presentations \nThe Club has reserved 40 double rooms for Saturday night 24th September\, and a few for Friday night  23rd and Sunday night 25th.  The agreed rate is £125.00 per room per night double occupancy (£115.00  per room per night single occupancy) including full English breakfast. \nTo book accommodation\, please use the direct line to the Events Office at the Hotel\, 01789 472513\,  which we are assured will be manned continuously during normal business  hours\, quoting “Lagonda Club”. \nMenu choices for the Gala Dinner must be pre-booked and it is expected that tickets for this and the Buffet Lunch will go on sale in March through the Club’s Spares Department. \nIf you have any queries please contact the event coordinator\, Rodney Saunders\, by telephone on 01444 811598 or\, preferably\, by email to rodneysaunders@clara.net. \n\n\n\n\n\n	\n	\n		No items found

DESCRIPTION:The Lagonda Club have been personally invited by Robert & Tanya Lewis and they would love to see as many of our pre and post war Lagonda’s and Aston Martin’s attend their Car Museum Collection as possible. \nAston Martin Owners Club has also been invited to share this unique recently extended Collection and new Showroom Display areas\, probably the largest private Collection in the UK. \nThese types of Events draw several hundred Vintage & Classic cars throughout the year and we hope to encourage many of our Members to join this exciting opportunity. \nYou may recall that Robert & Tanya are Lagonda Club Members\, who now have a Collection of 75 cars at their home. This includes a Lagonda V12 Le Mans Replica frequently raced by Robert\, an M45 Saloon and Earl Howe’s V12 Lagonda with some superb extensive automobilia. \nTo appreciate fully what there is to see at their ever growing Collection and Showrooms\, which includes c 20000 sq. ft. of Barns / Dioramas / Garages / Scenic Displays\, visit their son’s website @ www.zachsgarage.co.uk    To help you navigate this site above ‘Click Here to Enter’ / ‘Find a Venue’ heading & click / Select ‘The Garage’s’ / Click the circle below ‘Take A Look’ / Click ‘Move’ / and click full screen icon and you are off walking forward or backwards \, left or right using your mouse and scroll wheel intuitively into the different Marque Garages. DESCRIPTION:BLUEBELLS AND COWSLIPS RUN \nOnce again David and Susan Wood have very kindly offered to host a barbeque at their home in Freeland on the afternoon of Sunday 8th May. \nThe plan is to meet in the car park of the Maybush (OX29 7QD) where coffee and snacks will be available from 10:00am\, before departing at 11:00 for a scenic drive of about 38 miles to David & Susan’s home. There will be a turn by turn roadbook and a support van.   Food will be provided at the destination but you will be asked to bring your own drinks (motorcycles exempt!). There will be a £10 fee per head to cover the food and any surplus money will go to local good  causes. DESCRIPTION:THE EAST MIDLANDS PUB MEET\nSATURDAY 7TH May 2022.  12.00 Hours Onwards. \nThe Wheatsheaf Inn\,  \nBrand Hill\, \nWoodhouse Eaves\, \nLeicestershire. \nLE12 8SS. \nwww.wheatsheafinn.net \nThe East Midlands chapter of the Lagonda Club\, will be very pleased to meet members of the Club at a pub gathering to be held at The Wheatsheaf Inn\, Woodhouse Eaves\, LE12 8SS on Saturday 7th May 2022. \nThe inn is in a particularly attractive part of Leicestershire\, towards the North of the county\, close to Bradgate forest and Old John\, a beacon from which\, should you wish to\, looking East\, the next highest point are the Urals!! \nI hope members from Derbyshire\, Leicestershire\, Lincolnshire\, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire will find the location reasonably central and provide an agreeable drive from their garages.  Members from the mini county of Rutland would also be welcome\, but regrettably we have no Lagonda’s residing there!! \nWhat better excuse to get your Lagonda out in early Summer than to drive to a good pub in a lovely setting\, have a relaxed\, informal lunch and a nice chat to fellow Lagonda Club members and admire an elegance of Lagonda in our reserved section of the pub’s car park. \nAs above\, it is proposed to meet at midday onwards.  We will have our own area to congregate in and to sit down; refreshments and food may be ordered from the bar as required. \nJohn and Alison hope to see as many members from the East Midlands as possible\, but of-course all members are very much welcomed.  As an aside\, anyone travelling South after the Northern Dinner held on the 4th May\, might want to extend their adventure and have lunch with us at The Wheatsheaf on the way home. \nTo assist the lovely Vicky\, the pub’s landlady\, think about numbers\, it would be helpful to drop me a short email as below if you think you might be joining us. \nJohn Boyes. \nEast Midlands Area Representative. \nThe Lagonda Club. \njohn.s.boyes@btinternet.com \n01455 556015 (h)  Preferred. \n07921 890061 (m)  In extremis.

SUMMARY:Aston Martin/Lagonda Heritage Trust Meet
DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \nOn the 26th June the Aston Martin Heritage Trust is holding an Heritage Festival at Dallas Burston Polo Club. This is a Heritage Trust event. The Lagonda Heritage Trust will also be taking part of this interesting event. \nThe event has an educational slant to it with all cars are being parked by era. Post-War Lagondas are already listed and included in the Feltham\, V8 & Gaydon groups with the Pre-War Lagondas adjacent to the Pre-War Astons. \nThere will be display boards for each section and a guided walk through the carparks telling the story of Aston Martin and Lagonda. \nThis is probably one of the firstpost COVID lock-down events so please come and have an enjoyable day and at the same time support both the Aston MArtin and Lagonda Heritage Trusts
